Polar clock gadget fo windows 7

PixelBreaker has an amazing polar clock. My first thought: that could look uber-cool on my win 7 desktop as a gadget. There was none available on the internets though. So, here’s the one that I put together : PolarClock.gadget . A quirk: an error box on initial launch, just click “dismiss all” and you are set

Doesn't install, mate. Nothing happens when you press install...

It happens sometimes. Workaround:
1. Rename the PolarClock.gadget to PolarClock.zip.
2. Extract the files of above zip to folder.
3. Rename this folder to PolarClock.gadget.
4. Copy this folder to %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Sidebar\Gadgets
5. The gadget should now appear in the gadgets list.

Awesome! Thanks for that. :) Now I just wish it were square, without wasting all that screen real estate on either side... or with transparency? :P

I have followed the workaround and it still does not work. I am using Windows 7 64 bit. Any ideas?

Is there any way to make it work on the 64bit version of win 7?
I tried installing it manually but nothing seems to happen. Thanks!

Just worked it out. To install it on Win 7 64bit, just follow the five steps above, but copy the folder into %localappdata%\program files(x86)\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

Nice gadget! Thanks man!

The clock appears in the gadget list, but when I open it, it's just a blank box. Any ideas?
